Iconic Sites

The Daytripper bus tour starts at the Palais Theatre - St Kilda, where the Stones played in 1966, then takes a Magical History Tour across Melbourne to visit other iconic rock sites, including Festival Hall and the Australian Music Vault.

The Step Back tour is a shorter, walking tour to some of the sites covered in the Daytripper tour, including AC/DC lane.

Either way, be enthralled as we divulge the history of Melbourne's musical landmarks.

Lets get Trivial

Life's not a spectator sport, and we're all about having FUN!

On both tours, challenge your music knowledge during a few rounds of Rock Trivia. On the Daytripper tour you will also be invited to join in with an old school sing-a-long with ukuleles or just sit back and be entertained by our hosts.  Whether you're a seasoned muso or just love to listen, we will create our

very own band on the run!

Imagine Doing the Eagle Rock with your fellow travellers!

Phil and Suzanne host this fantastic Rock Music tour of Melbourne. The  bus was comfortable, the stops along the way were great and the rock  facts were fascinating.  The Music Museum was amazing and well worth a  visit.  You can tell Phil and Suzanne have a passion for music and  sharing facts and were so welcoming and friendly.  The trivia at the end  was really good fun and rounded off a memorable afternoon.  Thanks Phil  and Suzanne - you rock!

Excellent! Melbourne has been crying out for something like this! We did one in London. It was FAB! This is right up there! Great to learn about  the history of the Live Music Capital, Melbourne. Heaps of laughs and  made feel very welcome from hosts Phil and Suzanne.

Highly  recommended.

YOUR HOSTS

Phil

image12

As a seven-year-old, Phil was turned on initially by The Beatles cartoon show, before winning a copy of

Let it Be on Ross D. Wylie’s

Happening ’70 TV show.

A professional musician, broadcaster & MC for over forty very odd years, Phil is putting his money where his mouth has always been; Rock Trivia, and will regale you with songs, stories and laughs for the entire trip.

Raconteur, rock dog & unflinching trivialist, Phil will breathe life into the stories behind Australia’s historic Rock venues in this one-of-a-kind Magical History Tour!

Suzanne

image13

Suzanne has a background in Performing Arts and Festival Admin. Working in a Community Theatre for over 12 years, she has a love of the Arts, especially Rock Music.

Her passion for music emerged as a child while listening to her older sibling's records of The Beatles, Bob Dylan and Cream.

As a teenager, Molly Meldrum’s Countdown was relished every Sunday night and she vividly remembers her first rock concert at 12 years old...ACDC at Albury Civic Centre, Dec 27, 1975. (escorted by Dad much to her embarrassment!)
